Vivekanand Vaidyak Pratishthan derives its basic inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts ‘Serving man is serving god’. Our organization established on 12th January 2001 on the occasion of Swami Vivekanand Birth Anniversary . The organization is devoted in looking at the wider picture; not only to help one cause but to focus on related causes too. We hope by doing this there will be a positive impact on the community and encourage others to make a difference. With the partnership of the Government of India & various State governments, NGO’s, Trusts as well as the generosity of thousands of our supporters, we are growing towards from a small endeavour to a mammoth force that stretches across the states. Vivekanand Vaidyak Pratishthan is a registered Indian Non-Government, Non-Religious, Non Profit, Social voluntary Organization. It is a hard fact that though the medical facilities in urban India are at par with some of the European countries, but still the rural population is far from the advantages of quality medical service. The Programme interventions of the organisation cover major sectors such as Community Health including HIV/AIDS, Hospitals, Community Habitat, Education, Women, CBR (Community-based Rehabilitation) Women Empowerment. Our emphasize is on sensitize public on health & sanitation, education, environment, consumer rights, road safety and other social issues, and provide educational support to poor students belongs to economically disadvantaged, child labourers, disabled, orphans, semi orphans as well as try to prevent and control HIV/ AIDS, TB, Malaria and to conduct medical health camps to the remote rural areas. VVP believes that Health and Education events are very much necessary for the growth, self-esteem and confidence of rural people and has been undertaking suitable program activities.
