Gunthan” (ગુંથણ) is a collection of an Indian Traditional Designer wear with all varieties of embroidery work. Gunthan, established in 1995, has a specialty in all kinds of embroidery work like Hand embroidery, Machine embroidery, Zardosi work with use of variety of materials like beads, metal strips, mirror, sequin, etc. The name “Gunthan” means “ગુંથણ” a Gujarati word describes needle work done with a thread to decorate any cloth material. Gunthan uses variety of embroidery work like Parsi, Kutchi, Kashmiri, Phulkari, Dharvadi of different regions of India to create ethnic wear for women and men.
